ASK YOUR REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS TO COSPONSOR H.R.3945
APA has been actively working to ask Congress to pass a bill that would enable a copyright small claims tribunal. This week a coalition representing the visual associations is in DC to seek support for the Copyright Small Claims bill. Our efforts will have greater chance of success if representatives receive calls and letters from constituents.

For many photographers, illustrators, authors, songwriters and other creators and small business creators that own copyrighted works, enforcing their rights is not feasible. This new tribunal, called the Copyright Claims Board (CCB) would provide an easy and streamlined process for creators—including the ability to conduct proceedings remotely.
