About Shawn Hubbard:
Shawn Hubbard is a documentary and commercial photographer based in Baltimore, MD. His background as an athlete has had a heavy influence on his photography which often focuses on athletes and competition. Whether in a documentary or commercial setting his goal in making imagery is to evoke emotion and his style is shaped by the careful use of light, color and graphic compositions. His commercial clients include Target, Under Armour, STX, Red Bull, New York Knicks and Washington Wizards while also being a team photographer for the Baltimore Ravens since 2007. His editorial work can be found in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Men’s Health and Baltimore Magazine and he has also photographed 6 Super Bowls for the NFL. His work was recently featured on the cover of the The New York Times Magazine for a story on the ever-changing landscape of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) in the world of college sports.
