About the Presenters

Raquel Duarte: Integrated Content Producer

With a BFA in photography from SVA and 19 years of field experience, Duarte started young. She conquered the magazine industry first with an internship at Glamour Mag., followed by representing renowned photographers as an Artist’s Agent and most recently Art Producing at advertising agencies, such as Arnold Worldwide, Lloyd&Co, co:collective, DIRECTV, Translation and Pereira O’Dell amongst others. Duarte takes great pleasure in networking, sharing her ever-evolving industry resources, curating photography work and having the honor to collaborate with new artists as well as innovative consumer brands.

Julie Grahame: Consultant, Editor and Curator

Grahame was born in London, England, but moved to New York to manage Retna, an international photo agency. Since then, she has licensed thousands of images, reviewed hundreds of portfolios, judged dozens of competitions and published a handful of websites, including her pride and joy, full-screen photography magazine aCurator. Grahame is also a photographer consultant, and is the senior representative for the estate of Yousuf Karsh.
