Stephen Wilkes, Gallery Exhibitions and Book Release

Day to Night is an exhibition hosted by Fahey/Klein Gallery and created by photographer and APA member, Stephen Wilkes. Within this collection, Wilkes reimagines landmarks in detail and style that strive to depict both day and night in the same image. For this series, Wilkes spends up to 30 hours perched at least 50 feet in the air at each location. From this position, he takes upwards of 2,000 photographs which he painstakingly selects and blends into the timeless images shown in this gallery and book.

This gallery is open now until November 30th at the Fahey/Klein Gallery

Stephen Wilkes has built an unprecedented body of work and a reputation as one of America’s most iconic photographers, widely recognized for his fine art, editorial and commercial work.

His photographs are included in the collections of the George Eastman Museum, James A. Michener Art Museum, Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Dow Jones Collection, Carl & Marilynn Thoma Art Foundation, Jewish Museum of NY, Library of Congress, Snite Museum of Art, The Historic New Orleans Collection, Museum of the City of New York, 9/11 Memorial Museum and numerous private collections.
