Free in-person event
If you have ever wanted to learn how to create photos like the pros, this fun, free event for kids and parents will be a great way to spend part of your Saturday afternoon!
Join American Photographic Artists New York's interim co-chair Paul Ip (@thepicreative) and member Robert Ripps (@robertripps) for a fun and informative photo walk around Tribeca. This photo walk will teach you how to make better photos regardless if you have a camera or a smartphone. You'll learn photography fundamentals like composition, utilizing light and shadow, and how to think creatively as we photograph people, places, and things around Tribeca. Best of all, you’ll have a fun-filled afternoon learning and making photos together — just in time to capture fabulous photos of your holiday gatherings!
This activity is geared to kids of all ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Please RSVP.
This event is part of APA-NY’s 2nd Annual Soho Week, juried photography exhibit at Soho Photo Gallery (happening December 5-10), so we’ll be starting out our walk from the gallery.
