The quickest way from point A to point B is a straight line. This concept works well if you’re taking a road trip and want to reach your destination fast. But when thinking about our professional careers, taking a detour (or two) can be the crucible needed to find undiscovered interests and develop new skills.

Huge Galdones is a food and beverage photographer based in Chicago, Illinois. Huge describes his journey into the commercial food photography world as “convoluted” and “unconventional,” and we couldn’t be happier. Huge will share the things he’s learned along the way and the principles he abides by to this day. He will share ideas on handling the client/photographer relationship, COVID-19 pivots, and much more.

What you’ll learn:
Learn to embrace an unorthodox path into the world of commercial photography
Tips on handling the client/photographer relationship
COVID-19 pivots and thoughts on keeping yourself inspired
