APA DC Summer SlideShow and Online BBQ, August 27, 2020

Okay, let’s just start off by admitting that this was not the summer we had all been wishing for. Jobs were canceled, vacations postponed, and the phone just stopped ringing for many of us. Most of us have had some time on our hands.

Now, let’s make some lemonade out of these lemons, shall we?

When we look back on the last few months it may be hard to imagine it, but we, as a group, created some amazing bodies of work.

So, grab a beverage and bun-based protein of your choice, take your laptop out to the backyard, patio, or balcony, and join us for a little community and inspiration. It’s an APADCBYOB-b-q and slideshow!

This will be as chill as it gets. Any member can present some recent work, and anyone is welcome to watch. Each presenter will get 10-15 minutes to show any genre that they’d like. It can be personal promotional work, family vacations, client work– whatever you’ve got! The audience can ask questions and offer ideas, critiques, if you’d like. Maybe we can help figure out how to turn it into a promo piece.
