Bright, Vibrant, Crisp, Clean, Quirky. All words used to describe Dana Hursey's photography. Come and join Dana as he shares some of his work, perspective, and workflow. A California native, Art Center Grad & Instructor, his imagery has touched on many genres. From lifestyle to product, conceptual to food, the common thread has always been imagery that is humorous and iconic.
While Dana’s commercial work for clients such as Volkswagen, United Healthcare, Four Seasons, Kohl’s and Habit Burger, has a distinctive style, he'll also share some of his environmental portraits from the acclaimed 14Days in Great Britain Project and discuss the process that took him out of his comfort zone in order to produce the body of work.
An open Q&A will be a great opportunity to join in the conversation about workflow and the realities of being a working commercial photographer in today's environment.
