It is an age-old question in this industry: How can commercial artists stand out to creative buyers to get work seen, recognized and ultimately get hired? Though delivery avenues have changed over the decades the question remains.
A panel of creative decision makers will discuss the effectiveness of commercial artist’s basic marketing outreach, i.e. email, direct mail, website and internet exposure, but also delve into what more can be done to effectively promote. From social media to crucial in-person interactions this panel will engage in a lively discussion about steps to help artists maximize their digital energies and in-person interactions with creative buyers. This will be a valuable discussion for commercial artists looking for the information needed to promote their work and build their exposure.
