Shooting for Motion Workshop - March 27 & 28, Los Angeles

This is for professional photographers looking to learn the skills needed to shoot motion

This in-depth, hands-on workshop, in partnership with AbelCine, teaches participants the skills need to operate the Canon C300 Mark II camera. Designed for working professionals, as well as those who are looking to enter the field, the course gives detailed instruction on camera set up, operation and workflows. By the end of the two-days, attendees will have gained comprehensive knowledge of the C300 and the confidence to operate the camera in a variety of production scenarios.

In this very practical class, participants will work in small groups to shoot test footage and gain familiarity with Canon C300 cameras. They will learn how to set up the camera and get the best look for each shot. AbelCine instructors who have real-world experience with Canon cameras teach this class.

Topics include:

  •     Detailed instruction on camera operation
  •     Lens choice
  •     Production techniques
  •     Aftermarket accessories
  •     Emphasis is on developing an understanding of the camera sensor, recording format, lens choice, menu systems, and color profile creation.

Attendees who complete AbelCine’s In-Depth: Canon C300 Mark II workshop will receive a Certificate of Completion from AbelCine. This comprehensive workshop is designed to give attendees a strong working knowledge of production tools and practices.
