International Photographic Council is honored to bestow the IPC 2024 Professional Photographer Achievement Award to APA nominees Anna and Jordan Rathkopf for their outstanding photography and dedication to many important causes.

IPC 50th Anniversary Celebration and 2024 Professional Photographer Awards Luncheon will be held May 15, 2024 in the Delegates Dining Room at The United Nations.

IPC started these awards in 1999 to salute professional photographers worldwide for their outstanding photographs that tells the world a new story of life through images. IPC promotes - Peace through Photography, the Universal Language.

Anna and Jordan Rathkopf

Anna Rathkopf, originally from Prague, Czech Republic and Jordan Rathkopf,originally from Brooklyn, New York are award-winning visual artists, patient and caregiver advocates, and authors of the upcoming photography book HER,TOO, a family-focused cancer story told from their dual perspectives of Anna, a mother diagnosed at age 36, and Jordan, her caregiver partner.

The Rathkopfs work utilizes their lived experiences to create inclusive health stories that portray illness humanely and authentically and help create awareness for health equity. Their work has received prestigious awards (Comm Arts, APA,American Photography), exhibited at ICP, Photoville, LinkNYC and Smithsonian Institute, and has been featured as the Master Brand Campaign for Susan G. Komen and media including CNN, Good Morning America, Metro UK and more.
