American Photographic Artists National
Day for Night book launch and exhibitions in NY and LA
Tue 26th Nov, 2019
Day to Night is an exhibition hosted by Fahey/Klein Gallery and created by photographer and APA member, Stephen Wilkes. Within this collection, Wilkes reimagines landmarks in detail and style that strive to depict both day and night in the same image. For this series, Wilkes spends up to 30 hours perched at least 50 feet in the air at each location. From this position, he takes upwards of 2,000 photographs which he painstakingly selects and blends into the timeless images shown in this gallery and book.
This gallery is open now until November 30th at the Fahey/Klein Gallery.
