Gabe Palacio is a professional photographer with over 25 years experience in photography for print and digital media. He lives and works in greater New York City.

Gabe has been the principal photographer at The Caramoor Center for Music and Arts since 2005. Coverage includes a variety of musical and theatrical events year-round. His photos appear in marketing collateral, program guides as well as local, national, and international publications covering the performances.

Gabe has been commissioned by and contributed to editorial publications worldwide including The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, and Fortune. He’s worked with commercial clients including General Electric, Budweiser, The Discovery Channel and Apple Computer. Gabe learned his craft while collaborating with visual industry leaders Joe McNally, Ken Regan and others in the advertising, editorial and corporate genres.

A pioneer in the use of photography for digital platforms, Gabe has worked on multiple rich media projects featuring QTVR, IPIX and other photographic virtual reality technologies. Gabe is expert at video production of interviews, live events and musical performances, and provides that service to clients. He continuously explores new photography techniques to expand creativity and the distribution of images.

Gabe holds a BS in photojournalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications. He is a member of industry organizations APA and NPPA. Located just north of NYC, within easy reach of the New England and Mid-Atlantic states. When not creating photographs he enjoys time with his family, and for more than a decade has served as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Katonah, NY.
