With a passionate eye for capturing the mystery of people, John Madere seeks the unique human moments that animate photographs. John's compelling subjects, from over 50 countries around the world, have kept his work fresh and constantly evolving. He has most recently expanded into directing stunning, award winning film documentaries informed by his experience in photographing people from every walk of life. Current self assigned photography projects include his book “Tidal Anatomy” and the “Portraits of Design” series. John’s awards include: The Art Directors Club, the AR 100 Show, The Mead Show, The ARC Awards, Graphis, Best Documentary NYC Downtown Short Film Festival, and American Photography. John has served as a judge for national an international creative competitions including The Art Directors Club, The ARC Awards, Graphis International Photography Awards, and The Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
