Rebecca Drobis Photography

Pro Type: Photographer

Rebecca Drobis is a Washington DC-based photographer whose assignment work focuses on youth, family and education. Rebecca’s images tell human stories and illustrate the messages of campaigns, organizations and causes. Selected clients include The Washington Post Magazine, The Discovery Channel, Disney, The 4-H Council, Children’s National Medical Center, Women’s Day, The Environmental Defense Fund and The American Cancer Society.

Rebecca has been passionately documenting children growing up on the Blackfeet Reservation for close to a decade using stills and video. Initially, the impressive mountains of Glacier National Park drew Rebecca to the reservation, but the children living in the shadow of those peaks keep her coming back. In addition to shooting her own work, Rebecca is devoted to teaching photography to kids living on the reservation. To view this work, please visit the project website: http://www.grownupwest.com
