TapiaPhoto is Photography by Ric Tapia. Ric is commercial photographer with an emphasis in creating sports imagery. He has been recognized three times by the National Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio for Action Photography. Ric’s work has been viewed by millions of people across all platforms including: Los Angeles Rams billboard, Sports Illustrated covers, ESPN poster, Skechers in-store displays, Kia television commercials, and all over the internet for the NFL. Like the athletes he photographs: New England Patriots two time Super Bowl winner Julian Edelman, Los Angeles Rams first overall draft pick Jared Goff, Men’s Tennis world number one doubles players the Bryan Brothers, Boston Marathon winner Meb Keflezighi; Ric is a professional of his craft.

Ric played many sports as a kid and continues to play ice hockey and tennis. His passion for photography started his freshman year in high school and quickly developed an eye for sports photography. Ric pursued his education at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Professional Photography. When Ric is not in the studio or on the sidelines you can find him scuba diving as a PADI Scuba Instructor or traveling to the Polar regions.
