American Photographic Artists National
Pro Type: Photographer
Aloha, I am Jesse Lora, born, raised and retired in beautiful Southern California. My passion for photography began in high school and eventually led me to serve in the United States Marine Corps as a photographer and journalist. After retiring as a disabled Marine, I realized my camera was never just a tool, it was how I made sense of the world, the camera truly made me feel complete. My work isn't about creating perfect art. It's about slowing down long enough to see what most people walk past. The quiet moments. The changing light. The feeling a place leaves you, long after it is gone. Every art piece I create is personal. I don't chase trends or capture what I think people want to see. I create artwork that reflects honesty, stillness and a genuine connection to the places that have shaped my life. My hope is simple. When someone lives with one of my fine art pieces, they don't just see the ocean or the landscape, they feel something. A sense of peace. A memory. A reminder to slow down. At the end of the day, if one of my art pieces makes you stop, take it in and feel something you didn’t expect, then I know I created something that truly matters. Love you all. Mahalos, Jesse Lora
