Shoga Tadevosyan is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer. She started her career in film industry as an Assistant Director in one of the established film companies in Yerevan, Armenia “Aysor-Plus Film Productions”. In 2011 she wrote, directed and produced her first feature film project “The Romanticists” (co-author Areg Azatyan). The same year she attended Berlin IFF by special invitation to promote the film project during the festival. In 2012 the project received financial support from Armenian National Cinema Center, as well as a Grant from Goteborg IFF. In 2014 the film was premiered at Goteborg IFF, and was recognized at several international film festivals receiving numerous awards. In 2014 she moved to Los Angeles. and begin exploring storytelling through photography. Shoga enjoys working with children by creating visual narratives, as well as portrait photography. Being a filmmaker, her images are both cinematic and emotional. In 2019 she was awarded with the scholarship from Palm Springs Photo Festival in order to attend well-know photographer Sandro Miller's workshop.
