Patrick was born in Nuremberg, Germany and grew up in a small town in Franconia. He studied photography and design at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (FH Bielefeld), where he subsequently graduated in 2005. In 2011 he exchanged the urban setting of Berlin, where he lived and worked for several years, for the sunny beaches of Los Angeles, where he is currently based.
Patrick is happiest when he is in the midst of creating a new series of images and loves every part of the process, from conception to execution.
