Born and raised in Italy, Oskar Landi moved to New York in 1998 where he attended the International Center of Photography and studied cinematography at New York University. Since then he has portrayed some of the greatest international artists and thinkers for major editorial clients, and worked with prestigious brands like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, and Levis. His fine-art work examines our relationship with nature and some of the environmental challenges of our time. Since sailing in the Arctic during an art/science residency he has been collaborating with NASA on a remote sensing study of microplastic pollution.
