Hannele Lahti is a DC-based photographer and videographer who is obsessed with nature, travel and dogs. Her work focuses on her beliefs that it is our responsibility to honor and protect the natural environment and that dogs are truly humankind’s best friend. A Maine native, she is not afraid to get dirty to capture a great image or tell an important story, in fact, that’s the way she likes it.
She has worked with clients large and small, including the Smithsonian Institution and National Geographic, to tell stories and bring attention to the subjects she cares about most. In her spare time, you'll find her practicing yoga, exploring local trails with her feisty Boston terriers and eating all the wood-fired pizza she can find.
