Rebecca is currently the Art Director for science non-profit Spectrumnews.org. She directs Spectrum's multimedia operations, art directing illustrations, photography, video, audio, infographics and other multimedia content. Prior to joining Spectrum, a non profit publication for scientists, Rebecca was photography director and photography editor for Discover magazine and The Wall Street Journal, where she was honored with multiple awards for her work. Originally from California, she has worked as an art producer at advertising agencies, and a photography producer and editor at Airbnb other startups. She has also taught photography at the California College of the Arts and Rutgers University, and has written on art and science for Wired, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Nautilus and others. Rebecca has an M.F.A. from Rutgers University. As a seasoned, award-winning director of video, photography, and illustrations, Rebecca delivers media-rich content and strategy with insights that come from over a decade in publishing, advertising and branding. She has curated, consulted and written for mobile multimedia apps and websites, commissioned photography around the globe. Art and science are areas of special expertise and interest.
