American Photographic Artists National
Pro Type: Photographer
At my core, I am a storyteller. I studied journalism at American University in Washington, DC and it was here that I discovered my passion for digital media. I became a part of the photography club Photo Collective and volunteered at the photo lab where I helped students with everything from rolling film to coaxing the digital printers into doing their jobs. By my senior year I was running Photo Collective, facilitating speaker events, photography work shops and field trips for our 90+ members. My work has been published in People Magazine, American Craft Magazine and featured on the Today Show. I have also had the pleasure of collaborating with renowned brands including National Geographic, Disney+, Marriott Hotels, and the Washington Wizards. During my last year at AU, I worked in the office of Science and Research at the Smithsonian Institution where I created the launch video for their new climate initiative, “Our shared Future: Life on a Sustainable Planet,” which premiered at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
