Nasrah Omar is an artist working with photography and photographic processes, she was born in India and is based in Lenapehoking (Queens, NY). Using photography as a conduit towards world-making, her work interlaces layered experiences of the South Asian diaspora, ritual, folklore, material culture and technology. Her photos probe narratives of visibility, connection and regeneration with the cultivation of paracosms towards collective healing.
