Tetsugo Hyakutake (born in 1975) is a Japanese artist. In 2003, Hyakutake moved to Philadelphia, graduating from the University of the Arts. In 2009, Hyakutake obtained a Master's Degree of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded a Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship. During 2016-2017, Hyakutake participated in the artist residency program at the ISCP New York. Recent exhibitions include the Brooklyn Army Terminal in New York and the Camera Austria in Graz. His work has also been exhibited in Philadelphia, Madrid, Singapore, and Taipei. Hyakutake’s work has been acquired for a number of notable corporate and public collections, including those of BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, the West Collection, Library of Congress, Carnegie Museum of Art, and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
