Joëlle is a portrait and street photographer based in Los Angeles. Born in Montreal, she lived in several countries before settling in LA, where she draws on the city’s diversity and energy. Part of her work focuses on Venice Beach and nearby areas, creating a personal portrait of a community shaped by openness and constant change. Her photographs have appeared in juried exhibitions in Europe and the US. Recent recognition includes first place for Fresh New Work in the 2026 APA Awards and finalist placements in the Paris International Street Photo Awards and the B&W International Photo Awards.
