APA MEMBER IDENTIFICATION CARD OPTIONS
We understand the importance of APA Member Identification, so we currently have three options for members:
1. Request an APA Member Plastic ID Card (now available only by email request, to members who recently joined, or whose annual membership was recently renewed).
2. Simply login to access & display (or if necessary, print out) your personal APA Member Virtual ID Card (easily available anytime, for all members).
3. Login and purchase an APA Member Professional Media Photo Identification Card, for $20 (available exclusively to APA Associate, Professional, and Leader members).
APA MEMBER PLASTIC ID CARD
To do our part in reducing plastic worldwide, as of May 1, 2021, APA will no longer be producing and automatically mailing out plastic member ID cards to all members.
YOUR APA MEMBER VIRTUAL ID CARD
Instead of adding more to the plastic in the world, each APA member can now login and scroll to the bottom of your MY APA webpage to access (and, if necessary print) their personal APA Member Virtual Identification Card.
Display your Virtual Card for in-person gear rental discounts, and proof of APA membership at events.
Please note: APA Member Plastic ID Cards, and APA Member Virtual Cards no longer reference “Pro Media”, and will likely not be accepted for baggage discounts when traveling.
APA PRO MEDIA PHOTO ID CARD
APA's Pro Media Photo ID Card is specifically designed to help expedite quick check-in service at airports, as well as to facilitate the pro media discount on excess baggage, available through many airlines.
Only APA Associate, Professional, and Leader level members are eligible to purchase this APA Member Professional Media Photo Identification Card, for $20.
You can receive your APA Pro Media Photo ID Card in under a week, or within just a few days, depending upon when your order is placed and where it is sent. There are many advantages to this major APA Photographer Member benefit, which are described here.
