PAIRS is a twofold representation of Schatz's career in portrait, fashion, and sports, focusing on the human figure and presented in 404 stunning pages, published by Lawrence Richard Publishing.
Drawing on 30+ years in photography, Schatz partnered with his photo editor wife, Beverly Ornstein, to curate the monograph. In an interview with The Eye of Photography, Schatz explains that PAIRS explores "the relationship between two subjects and the visual, graphic, emotional, social, physical and even spiritual dynamics resulting from the pairing. The connections are sometimes subtle, sometimes not. It's a photographic odyssey into the world of pairs."
