Commercial photographer Emily Nathan (pictured below) created Tiny Atlas Quarterly because she wanted to create a space for making the work she wanted to do, as well as fill a void in the travel publication world. She aimed to create a person-centered travel magazine, with a bent toward professional photographers’ personal work. Since its launch the press has taken interest in Tiny Atlas, and coverage spans many genres: Vogue, T Magazine, Coolhunting, Design*Sponge, Lonny Magazine, Refinery29, SF Girl by the Bay, PDN, Resource Magazine, A Photo Editor, Communication Arts, and Dwell Magazine to name a few.

TAQ’s community is powerfully connected on social media. At the end of 2013, TAQ created #mytinyatlas, a new movement on Instagram, a living anthology of great travel storytelling from around the world. With over 500,000 submissions and counting, the #mytinyatlas feed is one of the fastest growing hashtags in travel on Instagram.

Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
